But...
....what I'm craving right now is a bowl of icy cendol.
No frills; just shaved ice, green goodness,
gula melaka (palm sugar) and santan (coconut milk).
The "Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul - Ice Kacang" stall.
Somehow eating food by the roadside makes it taste better.
Sometimes.

I'm a sucker for chendol. Love the ones in Malacca. :-P
If I have food pictures from home with me "physically", I'll definitely cry until I flood the dang apartment hehe..funny thing, e'one knows that's the first thing I'm gonna drink as soon as I land my butt at the airport..so, when are you going home ?
gallivanter: hmm.. don't remember the ones in Melaka. I must try them sometime.
meltingwok: I'll be back at the end of June. Yay! But now I've got finals in a week's time =( Boo hoo... Need to try and stay away from the computer... and stop thinking about food! Hehe..
long long long loooooong time nvr eat chendol ored. u noe wat they said?? i think SG chendol and M'sis chendol taste differently. i still prefer M'sia chendol esp the stall in the pasar malam near my childhood house.
zeezee: I don't think i've tried sg's cendol before.. so msia's shall stay my favourite!
Love the chendol there at Penang Road. Eating by the roadside on a very hot day.
